Today we finalized the settlement of a Clean Water Act citizen’s suit on behalf of a steel fabrication facility. Although past the 60-day notice mark, our client was able to avoid a lawsuit following negotiations and minor modifications to its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and sampling program. Although we’ll be sad to end our relationship with a great client after only a few months, we are very happy with this result.
