Today, Jennifer moderated the webinar program “Cost Recovery Under California’s HSAA and CERCLA: A Look at the Right to Sue and Causation” for the ABA’s SEER Section. The program discussed the overall goals of CERCLA and the HSAA, how recent cases may affect not only the laws’ policy goals but burdens of proof, and what it means for property owners and private industry going forward.
