This year's anniversary came while California still asked us to be "safer at home," so our celebration was muted (and Jennifer kind of forgot about the anniversary for a couple of weeks). After all, every day has felt like every other day during this time! Despite a lack of cake and in-person celebration, we still carried on our annual tradition of sharing our good fortune with a worthy nonprofit. This year, in light of our recognition of the need to ensure the rights of all Americans to have their voices heard and recognized, we've decided to donate to the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights under the Law.
